Our Malbec was picked in mid-October and fermented in open top bins for 6 days of skin contact, with twice daily punch downs. Post-fermentation the wine was aged for 16 months in barrel to enhance complexity and add additional oak flavors to complement the fruit flavors. The resulting Malbec is rich and soft on the palate with flavors of blackberry and dark chocolate with sweet oak, vanilla, and toast on the finish.
